Today’s blog post is for all of you to consider. You can choose when time for time out is good for you. A friend, writer and professor Dr Steven P McGregor recently published his new book, The Daily Reset. Searching around for a few ideas to capture what I am trying to say in today’s post, I found his suggestion for day 318 closest (that will be November 14th next year). It’s described as, ‘Not Doing”. What have you been planning? Has it gone to plan? What’s next on your agenda? There are few occasions when we don’t have a plan. This will apply to your life in general and to your sporting activities. We are encouraged to set goals and to find ways of achieving them but what if you don’t set any sporting goals even for a day, or a week or a month? If you feel a bit uncomfortable with the idea of not doing, its worth trying to find out why.
